Always Think, Act, Talk and conduct yourself like the person you want to become.
However, the way you react to something is as a result of the perception you have about it.

Reading the parable of the talents, you’ll discover that the servant who didn’t do well had an attitude that portrayed how much he despised his master and that affected his productivity.

“For I know you’re a wicked master and you reap where you do not sow”

Many workers already have an attitude towards Mondays and that is understood, many times it’s not really the work but the environment, the stress that comes with it, Sometimes the traffic one has to overcome before they get to work.

I heard this joke about a group of mentally challenged persons. So, a therapist drew a door on the wall and told the mentally displaced persons to use the exit. They all clamoured for the door on the wall but then, they noticed one guy sitting down.

Assuming this guy to have made progress, the therapist asked, “Why didn’t you join your colleagues?”. After a hearty laugh, he replied, “I don’t need to join them. I’m holding the key to the door”.

Now I don’t know if I can call that progress but one thing is certain; his attitude towards using the exit was as a result of what he had in mind.

Do you see your business as one of the best? You’ll behave like it. If you perceive that your business is the best in the world, it upgrades your attitude.
That’s on a personal note.

I went to a bank to perform some transactions and I met the security guard and boy!! was he rude ?
His attitude discouraged me. If the first person I’m meeting treats customers this way, how would I expect the bankers to be nice?

Even in worship centers, ushers direct you with a smile, even if it’s fake, for that moment you are led to believe that they are warm hearted.
What attitude do you have towards customers and consumers?

Let’s bring in yet another scenario. A tattered guy walks into an office and the MD of the business rushes down to shake hands with him, stooping in respect.
The first thing that comes to your mind is that the shabby man must be important. Let’s not even go to what that attitude alone would do to the ego of that young man.

Realise that attitudes need daily adjustments. Let every business transaction be an experience and not just some professional deal. Make it fun at times; let it be a relationship. Ask personal questions.

When next you don’t get the results you desire, ask yourself, is this my attitude at work or is it just other factors beyond my abilities.

How do you see yourself, How do you see your work? How do you see purpose? How do you see that project?

Your attitude to a relationship can also affect how much you would get from the relationship, some people in relationships have a perception that either that friend is not a good friend or doesn’t even have them at heart probably because the friend hasn’t reached out for a while or texted them.

This in turn has a ripple effect on the way the other friend would view the relationship, your perception about a matter would determine your attitude towards it, someone sees the rain and is joyful that the rain is there to bring moist to their farm and is happy about it while someone else sees the rain and is not happy that the rain would get their clothes wet, same rain and yet different perception and attitude.

It has alot to do with everything. Hope you found value?
