A Nigerian Lecturer with the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has been reported murdered on campus as a result of being stabbed to death by an unknown person(s).

Dr Kamar Abdulkadir, a lecturer of the Department Of Physical Science and Health Education at the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has been murdered in cold blood by unknown killer(s) inside his office on campus.

According to Leadership, Dr Kamar was killed in his office. The perpetrators behind his death crept into his office on Sunday and killed him with a knife and hammer.

Intelligence source further revealed to Zagazola Makama,  a Counter-Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in Lake Chad, that the victim was later found dead in a pool of blood with several injuries inflicted on his body by his killers.

In the Sourse’s words; 

“His hands were peeled off when he tried to stop the attackers from stabbing him. They also used a hammer to smash his head and his spinal cord, killing him instantly.”

The killers didn’t just stop at killing him, they made away with his valuables and Vehicles while authorities searched for them.

However, the Borno State police command said it arrested 8 suspects in regards to the murder.

In his words;

“It was confirmed that he was murdered in his office and his car got stolen by the killers.

“Eight people have been arrested and they are undergoing investigation to unravel those behind the act.”

 

The mishap raised many suspicions, as the culprit hasn’t been found.

Is it possible the culprit is among the 8 people who have been arrested for questioning?
