The gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor Blessed announced their intentions to support youth education by sponsoring 50 UNIPORT Students in School.

The announcement happened on the grounds of the University of Port Harcourt, where the couple recently held a Victory concert programme where they introduced praise and worship.

The kingdom couple who had been in a paternity controversy recently gladdened the hearts of so many with their scholarship announcement in a video which is now making rounds online.

Pastor Blessed announced while his wife, Mercy Chinwo stood beside him, as he said;

“On behalf of our son, we are giving out a 1-year scholarship to 50 UNIPORT students”

At the announcement of the scholarship awarded to students, a loud cheer was held from the crowd and tears of joy were shed at the spot.

The couple didn’t seem affected by the paternity accusations levelled against them by an X user who is now claiming to be depressed.

Mercy Chinwo and pastor Blessed seemed to have raised the bar high for other Kingdom warriors.

The couple have shown great generosity and kindness by offering scholarships to 50 students from the University of Port Harcourt. It’s heartwarming to see individuals who are passionate about education and committed to helping others achieve their dreams. This act of kindness will go a long way in changing the lives of these students and inspiring them to achieve their full potential.

What do you think led to the scholarship award?
