In the Early hours of today, Nigerian Veteran actress Shan George released a video on her Instagram handle alerting social media N3.6m  has been cleared from her Zenith Bank account through fraudulent means.

 

The actress in a video going viral revealed the money was sent to an Opay account belonging to Cecilia Chiagoziem Okoro. The actress revealed the money in question is her life savings as she has no money anywhere.

 

Also, she pleaded with Nigerians, Zenith Bank, Opay, Nigerian Police and EFCC to look into the matter, so she will recover her stolen money.

 

Furthermore, the Nollywood actress who apologised to Don Jazzy on behalf of WizKid as a WizKid fan during the recent outburst of Wizkid said she had nothing to eat with her kids.

Sharing the screenshot, the actress appealed to Nigerians to help her.

 

 

However, she made mention of how she is unable to go to the bank because this happened on a Saturday, and banks do not operate on Saturdays.

 

This unfortunate event led the actress to make another video, where her face looked swollen like someone who has been crying.

Since the post, Actress Shan George has generated a lot of sympathy from Netzens while some questioned the security of Nigerian Finance.

 

From the situation surrounding this mishap, it seems this is a local scam, which was done locally and not through foreign exchange or Crypto.

 

Hopefully, Zenith Bank, Opay , EFCC and The Nigerian Police will get involved to investigate this issue and return her money back to her.
