It is gathered and confirmed from the Football club’s official page, Manchester United, that they have just ended the contract with Cristiano Ronaldo and that he is to leave with immediate effect.

You may wonder why they had to end the contract prior to when it was supposed to be due. Read on while I expose the real reason behind the abrupt termination of the contract.
Let’s first talk a bit about Ronaldo and his career.

Who is Cristiano Ronaldo?
Cristiano Ronaldo, CR7 as he is called, is a superstar professional football player who is regarded as the most influential football player in the whole world.

Cristiano Ronaldo made his debut as a professional footballer on Sporting Lisbon’s first team in 2002. He had a good year for a start and by 2003, he was transferred to Manchester United, The Red Devils, at the ripe age of 18.

At Manchester United, he won his first FA Cup in his first season. It is good to note that at the time, he had also started playing for his country, Portugal. At Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo started to win the hearts of the fans with his crazy fast dribbles that left defenders defenceless. Before long, Cristiano Ronaldo became the star of Manchester United alongside Rooney, who some consider his rival much more than a team player.

Cristiano Ronaldo played for Manchester United for a while and won different three Premier League titles, the FA Cup, two League Cups, the Champions League, and the first of his five Ballon d’Or crowns before leaving Manchester United for Real Madrid.

At Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo’s football skills even developed further.
No one could hold him down when he was with the ball.

During his time at Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo made 438 competitive appearances and scored 451 amazing goals…making him the highest goalscorer in the history of Real Madrid to date.

At Real Madrid, Ronaldo played alongside Benzema and Marcelo and they, together with other professional football players, did wonderful things and won numerous games for the club.

On 10th July 2018, Ronaldo signed a contract with Juventus.

He played for Juventus and got Two league titles, one Coppa Italia and one Italian Super Cup while on the club.

After two seasons at Juventus, CR7 left Juventus and returned to his former club, Manchester United.

But this time, he returned when Manchester was at its worst.

Manchester wasn’t playing so well, and even though he knew there was a lot of work to do, he chose to return to Manchester United.
Everyone was hoping for a full turnaround of the club’s performance given that the almighty goalscorer just joined the team.
But then, this was where trouble set in.
First, it was an unrealistic expectation because for a team to win a match, it has to collectively work together as a team with one aim in mind.
But then, it seemed the plans placed everything on CR7’s shoulders. But that wasn’t all.
First, we saw Cristiano Ronaldo walk off the pitch when a football match was going on.
These raised eyebrows as it was a sign of disrespect from Cristiano Ronaldo to his coach and also the football club in general.
Later, during an interview with Piers Morgan on Talk TV, Cristiano Ronaldo made some revelations where he mentioned the fact that he is been forced out of the club. He said that different people didn’t want him there.

He also said that the Senior executives lacked empathy after his newborn son died in April. The Glazer family, the owners of the club, was not left out. He called them out when he said that they do not care about the club and also, that Erik ten Hag doesn’t respect him.

It wasn’t long after the interview, Manchester United made a public post saying that Cristiano Ronaldo is to leave the club with immediate effect.
