The Ikorodu bois, sometimes known as the Ikorodu boys, are young comedians and mimics from Nigeria.

They are well renowned in Nigeria for imaginatively remaking local and foreign blockbuster horror movies as well as music videos using common objects like wheelbarrows to mimic fancy vehicles or modern technology.

This team consists of three(3) siblings and their cousin, Babatunde Sanni, Maleek Sanni, Muiz Sanni and Fawas Aina respectively.

They have showcased their skills all over the world since 2017. Maleek, Muiz, and Fawas, their cousins, play on the squad, with their elder brother Babatunde Sanni serving as manager and editor.

Subsequently, the Ikorodu Bois has received many awards and recognitions, such as

Ikorodu Bois were included in a Netflix Oscar Weekend Film Brand Campaign in April 2021, which was on display at Times Square in New York City.

In 2020, Netflix donated shooting equipment to Ikorodu Bois as a way to honour their special skill and to inspire the young guys to work harder with better tools.

The Ikorodu Bois have also been on CNN to talk about their videos and how they got started.

Many people, including Wills Smith, the Russo Brothers, Davido, Alvaro Morte, and Zack Snyder, have commended them.

Steve Harvey just gave the young filmmakers/impressionists international acclaim for their live presence on his TV show.

Following their recreation of the movie’s trailer, Ikorodu Bois went to the premiere of Russo Brothers’ Extraction 2.

They only recently revealed that Femi Otedola, a billionaire, had been covering their tuition since 2019.

However, the talented youngsters recently celebrated the billionaire on his birthday, November 4, 2022, when he turned 60 and gushed about him on Instagram.

The Instagram post read,

“Ever since the day (2019) @cuppymusic took us to meet you, you promised to sort our tuition fee, throughout our secondary education and till date you haven’t gone back on your promise!
We appreciate you and promise to always make you proud! May God keep granting all your heart desires! We love you sir”

As fans said positive things about him, some called him a man of his word while others simply appreciated him for his generosity. Someone even suggested the Ikorodu bois make him a mini skit for his birthday gift.

Femi Otedola seems to be a man with a big heart.

It could be through their recreation of Dj Cuppy’s music video that led to the meeting with Femi Otedola.
