GROWTH AND PROCESS
A young man who had been wrongly accused and had spent about 3 years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. And now with quick orders, he had been brought out, shaved and a new robe had been placed before him.
The King just told him his dream, but this wouldn’t be the first time he had interpreted someone’s dream, well it was not like he had the ability to but it was an ability bestowed upon him by God.
He had been doing so all his life, and never charged anyone for it, always willing to do it for free, because he knew it was given to him for free.
He had been a man of integrity, had been told stories by his Father about God, and how his Father had run from his own brother who wanted to kill him, His Father had left home with just few clothes and after 30 years, how Father had so much flock and four wives and 12 sons and daughters.
His Father had told him of how God was with him while he served his Father in-law, who was his grandfather (a man who was a diviner and cheated him four times in paying him salary, his mother being one of the cheated salaries)
The same story had almost been repeated in his own life, he was sold into slavery by his own brothers, all he did was to be loved by his Father meanwhile his Father was loved by his own grand mother who secured him Blessings from his grandfather.
All he got from his own father was just a coat of many colors, yet it was striped off him, all he had with him were stories that his Father told and two dreams that he told his brothers that made them hate him more…
While he replayed the stories of his father in the days of slavery, he was so sure that the God that kept his father was with him.
And now he was before the King that needed interpretation for his dream, which he effortlessly interpreted but well as his nature was to help, he decided to help the King get a solution to the problem of the entire world after all he would be affected if nothing would be done, that would also include his father and brothers (the same ones that sold him, yes the very ones)
But that solution came from the wealth of experience and growth he had experienced in the place of service.
He had served his Father before slavery, a captain of bodyguards and a prison Keeper.
It takes alot to serve someone who looks after prisoners not to mention a bodyguard. But in that process he LEARNT
He learnt how to think on his feet and make wise decisions, this would come into play in the years to come when his own brothers would visit him again.
How else could he have known how to save for rainy days if he had not at some point encountered lack during his year of service?
That process that you’re in, that one that gets you tired, you see others getting quick results and you wonder why you’re different.
Stay in it, master it, you will need it in the future.
How else could David have faced Goliath if he had not mastered killing wild beasts. The swift killing proved his mastery.
Meditate on these things
