Gospel singer and producer Dr Roy, reveals how he didn’t get paid royalties from producing Mercy Chinwo‘s album ‘Excess Love’.
The producer further stressed how much hard work Mercy Chinwo and himself put into the production of the album and yet when his father got diagnosed with stroke, the only assistance he got were words of encouragement.
Dr Roy, visibly moved, broke down in tears as he candidly revealed this information during an appearance on The Honest Bunch Podcast, hosted by Nedu-Official.

The video generated a flurry of reactions among social media users, with some blaming Mercy Chinwo, while others exercised restraint, awaiting the full context of the clip before they would come to a conclusion.
However, a few hours after the video made rounds online, Dr Roy in another video corrected the notion of calling out Mercy Chinwo. He said he never called out Mercy Chinwo, but rather he was referring to the gospel label boss, Ezekiel ThankGod (EeZee Tee) owner of EeZee Concepts.
He pointed out Mercy Chinwo was helpful during the time his father suffered from stroke. Also, he praised Mercy Chinwo and warned blogs to get their information right.

Dr Roy’s revelation has since then circulated the internet as netzens have different opinions about EeZee Concepts, some comments from the video related Dr Roy’s revelation to the reason Mercy Chinwo left the music label, EeZee Concepts and sang ‘’My Confidence” afterwards.
