Whosoever said that hiding stuff from an African man meant putting it in a book LIED.
Just put it into writing, it’s well hidden.
When I was serving in a local government in Rivers State.
I was posted to serve as a teacher, one of my first assignments to my students was to find out the year the school was established.
Sounds like I was that Strict right?
No I was being merciful. The answer met them every time they entered the school. But they never cared to read the Billboard at the entrance of the school.
You know I gave them clues that the answer was somewhere within the school. They still didn’t read it. Too bad!!!
This is why most times we consume expired products. The answer is right there on the label of the product but No, an average African man won’t care to read.
One time I bought an expired product from a retailer. Told him it was expired. He didnt even apologise. Gave me back my money and stored the product for an average African to come and buy ignorantly.
This also makes us lose money back guarantees, money, warranty and guarantees. Why??
Because we never care to read the manuals. Most times the phone you just bought comes with 2 years guarantee but ignorantly you pay for its repairs within months.
I can go on and on.
Organize a competition for reading and see the response.
Organize a competition for twerking and you’ll be so surprised at your GENERATION (cause I have removed my self from them)
If You read books, you will do well, you read everything readable you’ll do greater.
Remember the story of how Uriah, Bathsheba’s husband was killed by David. How David gave him his death sentence on a letter to take to Joab (2 Samuel 11:14-15) can we say Uriah was an African.
I don’t know but please Africans. It’s never too late to adopt a reading culture.
So I’ll end with the words of Paul to Timothy.. “Till I come give yourself to reading….” (1 Timothy 4:13)
