So we are all vessels, a vessel doesn’t have its importance by being itself but by what it contains or what it performs.. A vessel unto honor fit for use for the master
So let’s say a ship capsized… Is it a loss? Yea why because of what it carried, maybe containers, tankers, etc or the value it produces for it’s owners..

I think Jesus understood this, “let not my will be done’ I mean he could have called for help, twelve legions of angels, he could have healed himself. He could have said no to death. But he humbled himself, it wasn’t about Him but us
Yes we are replaceable but then we are unique. Only you can be you. Look at Peter, Jesus had to pray for him, his faith was about to fail, he was about to deny Christ. Yet it had to be Peter. I dont know if maybe Peter wasn’t there, 3000 souls might not have been won to Christ on the Pentecost day.
Dorcas might still be dead, the lame man at the beautiful gate might still be lame. It just had to be Peter that needed to open the door to the gentiles through Cornelius as the “rock of the church” what if Christ had not prayed for him.
Do you now understand that it wasn’t about Peter… Now you know why saving a soul prevents a multitude of sins and why he that saves a soul is wise?
Like machine parts we are all connected. We need each other. Maybe someone’s miracle job is dependent on that idea of yours. Maybe you preparing spiritually now is to heal a sick man out there, maybe that unfinished painting needs to be in a presidential house or museum. Maybe that 1000 naira change in your drawer is someone’s feeding money for the week. Maybe this my post was intended for you to read.
