6 years ago, when he landed in Canada and found it difficult to secure a good job within the 1st month of landing – he told himself that this environment was not for him.

Since graduating from the University 2 decades ago – he hasn’t been out of a job for more than one month – until he came to Canada. Then after a month in Canada without a good job, he told his wife and kids that it’s time to go back home. So they travelled back home and continued working for over a year. At some point of introspection, Osita realized that the challenge he had faced had been the experience of millions of immigrants.

And he also knew that challenges and barriers are meant to be broken through out-of-the-box thinking and challenging the status quo.
Through the BlackTECH Hub ecosystem, Nigerian IT Professionals in Canada (NIPCA) and other organizations that he has built – over 10,000+ immigrant professionals have been trained, supported and provided a safe space to live their best lives.

”I’m honored to be a member of the Forbes Business Council. What an amazing opportunity to collaborate with the top 1% of the globe’s business leaders, trailblazers and disrupters to innovate, ideate, and continually improve our economic landscape and paving the way for many others to thrive.” – Osita Nwajiufor.
