For the new morning with its light,
For the sweet songs of the night,
For the canyons and the mountains,
For the deserts and the oceans,
We give to You Thanks.

There are broken trees and dried rivulets,
Snoop the air and the voice of sounds,
Who is still here amidst the pandemics,
Grateful for the gift of life, so precious,
We give to You Thanks.

For being a loving friend,
For being a good neighbour,
For being an understanding colleague,
For being a brother and a sister,
I give to you Thanks.
