Hey, if I could count back,
Many years in the stack.
When the roads were rough,
Father was strong and tough.
Father! The first friend,
Father! The best wealth.
He worked and toiled so hard,
For candy and sweet in the food pack.
He paid so many bills,
To make the children thrill.
In the dense snow winters,
He brought heaters and sweaters.
He mowed the lawn and fields,
And trimmed flowers in the springs.
He helped to nurture,
To secure a good future.
He is an undaunted true hero,
Father is stern and bold.
He serves in the community,
A limb in the unbiased committee.
He is a radiant light,
Modeled people to bright.
I can’t in rhetoric all,
Father! You are great and tall.
