2020 Has been a nice year, the fact that you’re alive confirms this, However alot of stuff happened this year but here you are reading this and smiling happily because You know that you’re part of those who will see the end of next year.

However there are things One can do to prepare for the next year. As you already know that opportunities go to the prepared,

Imagine one going to an audience and asks them “if you can drive, raise your hands” only those who have learnt how to drive would raise their hands. Same thing applies to the examination candidates, only those who are fully prepared can take advantage of the opportunity of challenging questions.

The First thing is prayer, the beauty of praying cannot be over emphasized, it is amazing to know that Jesus prayed immediately after his baptism (Luke 3:21) and the heavens opened, He knew he was about to die yet all he did was pray even when he was on the Cross.

Why Prayer? Because you need divine directions for the new year, You thank God for the past Protection too.

Did you know that even the name January was gotten from the Roman God for Beginning, Janus whom the romans prayed to before they started anything to show that they too weren’t oblivious to the fact that gods had to be consulted before embarking on any stuff.

Then the Next thing is to prepare with relevant information but before you seek the information, you have to be precise with the questions, When you ask the right questions, you get the right answers.

You need to know what you need to achieve for the next year, a Job, a promotion, a scholarship, a Project etc

Write them all down and further expand it. Let’s say I want a job

What Kind of Job do I need?
What do I need to get that Kind of Job?
How do I use what I have to get that Job?
Who do I need to meet to get the Job?

What do I need to get a Job?

• an optimised and updated Cv
• Skills
• Interview

How do I get the kind of Job?

• Join Sites
• Webinars
• Networking

Lastly acquire the information needed, Try to learn as much as you can to implement the change you wrote down.

Here are three powerful currencies you should never forget

-Time
-Money
-Knowledge

And you can use any two of them to get anyone that you lack and one is constant (Time)

To get knowledge- You pay Time and money

To get Money – You pay Time and knowledge
