One of Nigeria’s top musicians, Damini Ogulu, popularly called Burna Boy , has once again achieved great feats in his musical career and made the country proud.
Burna Boy, also known as the African Giant has made the
2020 Grammy nomination as his album, also named African Giant, has been
put in an award category.
The African Giant album was nominated for
the Best World Music Album as David Adeleke, ‘Davido’ and many others
continue to send congratulatory messages and hope he’ll win.
The musicians and albums that were nominated in the Best World Music Album category include: Gece: Altin Gün, What Heat: Bokanté & Metropole Orkest Conducted By Jules Buckley, African Giant: Burna Boy, Fanm d’Ayiti: Nathalie Joachim With Spektral Quartet, Celia: Anjelique Kidjo.
Music manager and politician, Banky W, also shared the good news on his Twitter page as he thanked the singer’s management.
