Today, we have a lot of abused relationships, many people do not pass the relationship test, they either do not recognise their destined helpers, their mentors and coaches who come in the vessel of an opposite sex either because they are lust driven or sexists (misogynists)

One time, I met this young lady who wanted to teach me digital marketing and ebook creation, but I had one little problem, She was younger than me, now my first instant was but she is young, I probably should know better than her but something told me to leave my pride and ego aside.

And now, I’ve learnt so much from her, I’ve been connected to many influential persons through her, I really thank God that I sacrificed my ego. But then how many persons are missing out just because of their ego and pride.

Sometimes it’s not only pride, sometimes we lust over people who are supposed to be in a destined relationship with us,

The Bible mentioned how Jesus needs were ministered to by women (Luke 8:3)

That means there had to be a way that Jesus related with them that made them even come to spice up his dead body( as their way of helping his body not to smell even though he was dead, they still ministered to him)

The first step to pass the opposite sex test is to value the opposite sex, see them as God’s vessels, see them as vessels that God can use to do mighty things.

Deborah gave a prophecy to Barak and because he didn’t believe it entirely, he didn’t value the prophecy, he doubted it probably because it came from a woman, he missed claiming the victory, it was given to another woman.

Learn to not see other people as sex objects, there is more that can be seen. The Bible said that God has kept his treasure in earthen vessels (all human beings are earthen vessels) so that the power that will radiate will be known to come from him and not us.

You have to always bear in mind that every body has some sort of value to offer, the two spies who went to Jericho didn’t see Rahab as a prostitute even though she was, They saw her as a savior, little did they know that She would be the ancestor of David and Jesus, imagined if they just slept with her and went their way.

I’ll end with a story, a guy was in school, and there was this lady who saw that the guy was intelligent, so she always asked for his help, and because the lady has this mindset that “nothing goes for nothing”

She thought that she could pay the guy back for all that he did for her with sex, Sex is not just sex, this guy declined every advance made by the lady even though She just wanted to thank him with it.

And that was how her mindset was changed that not all men want sex from women. I pray that as you read, you become Heaven’s window of help and grace over someone, that even in the state of your flaws and weaknesses, that God will send you someone to engrace you.

I pray that you also recognise destiny relationships when you see them and also toxic relationships as they come, may you have the grace to discern which is toxic and destined in Jesus name
