I once saw a quote from a popular television series “Touched by an Angel” saying “Love doesn’t hide. It stays and fights. It goes the distance. That’s why God made love so strong. So it can carry you all the way home”
I thought I understood it at first, but after a while this quote fought me in my mind when I came across another saying from a Mentor that “God hides his best soldiers and those he loves”
What so special about Love that it conceals and heals at the same time. Many people know Love as a lot of things but not as a shield. We keep saying that Love is Blind, I beg to differ, “Love isn’t blind, Love Blinds”
Now before you ask What’s the Difference? What does the Scripture say?
1 Peter 4:8 “Above all hold unfailing your love for one another, Love covers a multitude of sins”
Proverbs 10: 12 “Hatred stirs up Strife, Love covers all offences”
1 Cor 13: 6-7 “Love does not rejoice at wrong, Love bears all things”
The same way we always find fault with those we don’t see eye to eye with is the same way we always excuse those we love when they hurt us.
Perfect Love casts out fear indeed, When you are sure someone truly loves you, you become vulnerable to that person, flaws, weakness and all because “Love conceals shortcomings but exposes things that it wants to Heal”

I saw a movie “Grace unplugged” How a Father didn’t want his daughter to become a Star, The daughter by name Grace thought her Father didn’t love her enough to let her follow her dreams but it turned out that Her Father loved her so much that He didn’t want her to shatter her dreams like he did his. Because that was the same path her Father took.
Now you know why your parents don’t let you do certain things, like driving a car before you turn 18, coming back home late, going to parties, hanging around certain company of friends etc
FOR THOSE WHO TRULY LOVE YOU WILL NOT WITHHOLD ANY GOOD THING FROM YOU AND IF THEY DO, ITS FOR THE BEST.
