Barman Cubana Chief Priest  opens  up on fallout with singer Burna Boy

The long-running feud between nightlife entrepreneur Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest and Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy has once again captured public attention after the socialite opened up about what he believes caused their friendship to collapse.

Speaking during a recent interview, Cubana Chief Priest alleged that Burna Boy’s resentment stemmed from his close relationship with fellow music star Davido, insisting that he never initiated any conflict with the Grammy-winning singer.

“I was on my own and he came for me”

Reflecting on the beginning of their dispute, Cubana Chief Priest maintained that he was minding his business when singer Burna Boy allegedly started targeting him.

According to him,

“My whole issue with Burna Boy started because he is Jealous of Me”

He further claimed:

“I was on my own, everybody saw it. He came for me. We used to be friends, but things changed.”

The celebrity barman suggested that his unwavering loyalty to singer Davido may have created tension between him and singer Burna Boy, whom he described as someone who wanted him in his circle.

“He wanted CP by his side, but I chose Davido. Davido and I have never sat down to discuss Burna Boy.”

What makes the situation even more surprising is that both men were once seen as friends and associates within Nigeria’s entertainment scene.
