HOW TO TRIGGER WISDOM IN YOUR MIND
Most times we have seen people whom the spirit of wisdom dwell in and we are quick to ask that they teach us how they acquired the wisdom they have, some go as far as asking them to lay their hands on them.
But you see, wisdom is priceless, her worth is far above rubies and jewels
What is wisdom? Wisdom is the right application of the knowledge acquired to solve a problem to the benefit of either the wielder or other people.
The bible mentioned that a wise man saved a city, but he wasn’t remembered because he was poor (this is another topic that I might do justice to some other day)
Solomon was known for his wisdom that kings would send envoys to him to enquire about their problems, the queen of Sheba had to come herself with “hard questions” to test him and he answered ALL.
I love Solomon for a lot of things, his wisdom being one of them but before Solomon asked for wisdom, let’s look at the life of this young man, what triggered him to ask for wisdom?
David, the father of Solomon, had committed adultery with Solomon’s mother, which caused alot of misfortune for David, Solomon must have witnessed alot of wrong happenings, how Absalom murdered his half brother, caused a civil war that made even David’s friends to betray him.
He probably ran away with his father and mother when Absalom wanted David dead, he also saw how Adonijah wanted to crown himself king even when David was still king.
It was this turbulence that triggered Solomon to ask for wisdom. I know you desire wisdom, but what do you need the wisdom to solve.
You see wisdom is triggered by challenges, pain, troubles.
Most people didn’t know they were going to wise until they sat down to actually think about a particular problem, encountered a challenge and then look for a way to solve it.
Who would have known that a 645,000-square-foot makeshift medical facility, made up of two floors and equipped with 1,000 beds, several isolation wards, and 30 intensive care units could be built in 10 days until corona happened
Who would have believed that Iron could float, in the 19th century, people used wooden ships with sails until a problem came about that made Wilkinson to make a steel ship, of course they doubted him even the builders.
Most times, we read the story of Joseph interpreting Potiphar’s dream as just a story but then how was he able to come up with a solution that quickly? Yes it was God but then let’s remember that Joseph had served his father, a captain of guards and prisoners, did you think during that period of service, there wasn’t a time he encountered lack especially the prison, did you think he kept quiet about it, he must have solved that particular scarcity problem in the prison before encountering it before Pharaoh that made him answer it quickly.
Most online coaches teach wisdom from the pain that they themselves encountered, most relationship coaches have failed in their relationship or marriages. Most sales coaches used to be broke, most cv optimization teachers were once without jobs etc
They didn’t just become wise like that, they passed through a challenge, it is challenges that makes you know you lack wisdom and you need a solution.
If any man lacks wisdom, let him ask God, but pride won’t let you ask God until you actually have a problem that is way beyond your comprehension and intelligence.
What I’m trying to say is that the pain you’re going through right now, don’t be quick to shove it away, ask yourself, how do I solve this so that nobody close to me can ever experience this pain.
This is the way to trigger wisdom, wisdom cries out in the streets (we all know that the street is where we find hard life) saying how long will me remain simple (quiet about that situation)
Ask God to show you a way out of that pain but not just a way, but a map so that you can guide others out quickly and get compensated for it.
