I heard Pastor Chris Ugoh say something that has stuck with me for quite a while “The Spouse one gets married to is a reflection of one’s wisdom”
I battled with this quote for quite a while then. What does He really mean?
But Now I think I get it so much. It’s clearer than a transparent glass now.
Many years ago. There was this lady I really cared about. (Let’s not dwell too much on the care, I was just infatuated about her period)
I asked her out, She turned me down. Chai… It’s well, I kept trying and All I got were different shades of No and Unrequited Love redefined.
I didn’t bother much, I just grew. Built my mind and Spirit (THE Body knows how to build itself if you eat the right food and get the right exercise)

I saw her some time calling me “Baby” (you and who?) I’m trying to understand what it was about her that attracted me sef. Please this goes both ways. I’m no Masochist or sexist or Anti-feminist.
The higher institution I graduated from. Ask any of the Ex cadets “How much they want to earn?” Non of them will mention anything below 6 figures… (wait this is not pride)
They know their growth confidently and they know their worth.
Sometimes one might apply for a job proposal and get turned down. Just realise that you’ve not grown to that level.
When a lady turns you down or a guy. Just realise you have not grown.
Herod wanted to kill Jesus. His Father was advised to run with him because he was not yet matured or grown up.
Growth might be painful. But it surely will pay. With time you’ll find yourself loosing interest in irrelevant stuff (appreciate it, that’s growth)
Other times it might be that some Jobs will be begging you but you know that you’ve grown past them.
Beat your Chest and tell yourself I will never stop growing. Wasn’t that why He gave us the GIFT OF MEN.
meanwhile I’m still growing 🤦🏻♂️
