He studied Theatre Art in the Obafemi Awolowo University.
Asake began his music career in 2017.

The singer released a debut album titled ‘Mr Money With The Vibe’, which skyrocketed his music career in 2022. The album debuted at number 66 on the Billboard 200 chart and recorded the highest charting Nigerian debut album in the history of the chart.

However, in a recent interview Asake disclosed how his boss Olamide saved him by asking him to leave a girl he had before he became a star.

According to Asake, he had a girlfriend before he became famous. When he got his big paycheck, he shared the good news with his girlfriend, including the details of how much he made at the time.

From his big paycheck he gave his girlfriend a sum of N2 million. Surprisingly, the girlfriend turned down the N2 million, complaining that it was too little compared to how much he made from his big paycheck.

However, the attitude surprised and worried Asake at the same due to the fact the girl came from a humble background.

The singer told his boss, Olamide about the incident. Olamide advised him to leave the girl and give the money to his mother instead.

Asake did as Olamide said, he gave his mother the money and she established herself with the N2 million. He further said, she no longer asks him for financial assistance.

According to Asake’s words;

“When I made my first big pay check from music, I was so happy that I shared the news with my girlfriend. I gave her full details of how much I made and the next day, I gave her 2 million naira as a gift.
To my surprise, she turned it down saying 2 Million was too small compared to how much I had made. I was abit worried coz this girl is from a humble background and I never imagined her to be like that.
I explained the situation to Olamide and he advised me to leave the girl, he also instructed me to send the 2 Million Naira to my mom.
I’m glad I did coz my mom was able to make good use of the money and open a big provision store. My mom doesn’t call me for financial issues anymore coz she’s doing just fine…”
