FAILURE, A PATHWAY TO SUCCESS

I was watching this particular series, alchemy of souls and in the 13th episode, a contest was made for a new mage to fight against 10 learned mages and he kept losing and failing but he never stopped.

What the other mages didn’t know was that with every defeat, he learnt why he lost and saw all the techniques that were used against him and he learnt ALL

In the last duel, the other mages were shocked to see how well he had mastered their different abilities just within the space of two weeks, even the last mage he fought against confirmed that he was stronger than he used to.

I once heard Seth Godin say that he failed more than he had won, to be a master, you have to be willing to try in front of those who would tell you that you don’t know what you’re doing.

No one started a master, there were days that they failed but they didn’t let it stop them.

Failure is truly a pathway to success, no one became successful without having days which they failed at some point in their lives.

Failure can be seen as an event that occurs while one is on their way to success, sometimes it is inevitable, especially when one is starting but this doesn’t mean that one should consciously fail in all that they do but one should learn the reason for their failure so that they need not to repeat that failure process ever.

A friend of mine met me recently and asked me what I think she could do with her audience, she didn’t want to leave them like that.

I readily gave her three solutions, but what I didn’t tell her was that I struggled to save my own audience 2 years ago, I mean I’ve handled community, I have a telegram community of 480 persons, a Whatsapp community of over 1000 and a LinkedIn community of almost 6000 followers. I’ve lost many of my audience because I failed at managing them but now I knew better to guide her and she was very happy, she probably might be seeing me as a very wise man 🤣

I’m a serial loser who learns from his mistakes, Lecrae would say “scars are evidence that the journey was rough” while Blessing Abeng would say “scars are proof that you survived”

Keep surviving, keep thriving, keep failing till failure gets tired of you and soon it would be said that you’ve gotten so good that you’ve forgotten how to fail

Hope you found value
