Mrs. Nonye Josephine Ezeanyaeche, a 102-year-old woman, has made her ambition known to contest for the seat of the Nigerian president in the coming general election scheduled for 2023.

Ezeanyaeche, who is fondly called either ‘Living Legend’ or ‘Mama Africa’, is a native of Aguata in Anambra state.

According to her, since the younger generation of the country are not ready to take over the leadership seat, she decided to challenge other contestants for the seat.

Mrs. Ezeanyaeche who announced she has promising agendas for the country if elected is the founder of the ‘Voice for Senior Citizens of Nigeria’ organisation.

She declared her intention on Thursday when she paid a visit to the Management team of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).

As she makes the record of people who have made their intention known for the presidency seat, she has, however, yet to reveal the political party she will be contesting under.
