A BETTER VIRTUAL ASSISTANT

Have you ever felt like you need a virtual assistant, you know that feeling that overwhelms you when you have so much to do at once and you wish you had a servant, sometimes a twin that could represent you in a meeting far away.

Well I’m here to help you, there are many ways to get yourself to do many things at once, one of the m is having a personal assistant who thinks like you and can answer your messages as you would have, fix schedules for you, answer emails, remind you of your schedule and meetings.

Paying a personal assistant can be expensive but it is totally worth it if you can afford it but then there’s a cheaper way, if you have an Android, then chances are that you have a google assistant installed if you have an iPhone, you should have Siri.

But I’m here for the Android users today.

So in order to access the google assistant, you need to long press the home key, and she pops up, some phones can have her triggered by saying “hello Google”

The Google assistant is designed in a way that it can recognize your voice and take multiple requests, it is also programmed to take both voice and text commands/requests.

Google Assistant offers voice commands, voice searching, and voice-activated device control, letting you complete a number of tasks after you’ve said the “OK Google” or “Hey Google” wake words. It is designed to give you conversational interactions.

Google Assistant will:

Control your devices and your smart home
Access information from your calendars and other personal information
Find information online, from restaurant bookings to directions, weather and news
Control your music
Play content on your Chromecast or other compatible devices
Run timers and reminders
Make appointments and send messages
Open apps on your phone
Read your notifications to you
Real-time spoken translations
Play games
Continued Conversation means you don’t have to say “Hey Google” for follow-up requests. Instead, once you’ve started talking to Google, it listens for a response without needing a trigger phrase all the time.

Google Assistant can help you navigate in Google Maps, on both Android and iOS devices. With your voice, you can share your ETA with friends and family, reply to texts, play music and podcasts, search for places along your route, or add a new stop, all in Google Maps.

Google Assistant can also auto-punctuate your message (on Android and iOS phones) and read back and reply to all your notifications (Android only).

Assistant works with many popular messaging apps and SMS, including: WhatsApp, Messenger, Viber, Telegram, Android Messages and more. When driving, Google Assistant can auto-calculate your ETA from Google Maps and can send to friends too, if you have an Android device.

The Google assistant can also blend with other Google apps like Google docs, drive , map, play music

With the Google doc, you can write emails, compose Cvs, proposals and plans for business and other related purposes.

With the Google map, you can locate nearby ATMs, banks, business offices, meeting points, road networks, and also give reviews on places

The Google drive allows one to save important documents, Meeting links, recorded meetings, files for record and reference purposes.

This is just a tip of what one can do, the calendar can help you to schedule meetings and appointments, and funny enough Google calendar always give notifications 30 minutes before the time just so you don’t miss the appointment.
