Students abducted from the Government Science Secondary School Kagara, in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State have been released, a government official has confirmed. 

The students are on their way to the Government House in Minna where they would be received by Governor Abubakar Bello. 

Bandits abducted  27 students and 15 members of staff from their school on February 17.
