The name “SolidStar” rings a bell in the minds of Nigerian music lovers despite the fact that his last hit song was around 2015.

Because of his popular song “One in a Million,” SolidStar is well-known throughout Nigeria and Africa. His signing was done by Ossy Achievas.

His proficiency in singing in English, Igbo, and Isoko is well-known.

The drugs

Although there are no images or videos of SolidStar consuming drugs or being in a bad state, his physical appearance has continued to deteriorate over the years. He has also fizzled into oblivion and doesn’t have any hit songs in the past 7 years.

Earlier today, SolidStar took to his Instagram page to reveal that he almost lost his life due to excessive drug intake.

He wrote, “I almost lost my life because of ice, Pills and cigarettes #stopdrugs if you can’t stop them all, smoke Igbo,.. Swipe #KALUBA

Comeback

As it stands, Solidstar is obviously trying so hard to make a comeback into the music industry, and yes, we are rooting for him.

The singer who recently celebrated his birthday released a new single titled,

“Kaluba”.https://www.instagram.com/p/CkpxYdbjH5Y/embed/captioned/?cr=1&v=14&wp=675&rd=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.kemifilani.ng&rp=%2Fmusic%2Fsolidstar-from-the-little-choir-boy-to-a-superstar-to-drugs#%7B%22ci%22%3A1%2C%22os%22%3A1386.5%2C%22ls%22%3A968.7000000476837%2C%22le%22%3A1230.1000000238419%7D

Is Kaluba strong enough to relaunch SolidStar’s “star status”? Time will tell.
