Grammy award-winning singer Damini Ogulu better known as Burna Boy, was star-struck after his childhood hero, Usher, recently paid him a visit.

 

 

A viral video has emerged online showing Burna Boy’s exhilaration upon meeting Usher for the first time. The surprised singer was even caught trying to breakdance like his childhood hero.

During the video, Burna Boy was so overwhelmed with joy that he almost pulled out his chain, while Usher watched on with excitement.

Burna Boy’s admiration for American singer Usher is no secret, having been a fan since childhood. So when Usher surprised him with a visit, it was truly a dream come true for the Afrobeat superstar.

Woman recounts how she weathered all storms to get money for a TV set from singer, Burna Boy

A Nigerian woman recently became an internet sensation with her narration of her encounter with singer Burna Boy on the Streets of Lagos.

In videos making rounds online, the woman detailing narrated how she ran into the Grammy singer after he exited a spot he was visiting.

 

She disclosed that when Burna Boy emerged on the streets, several ‘area boys’ gathered, and an individual she described as his brother proceeded to give out some bundles of cash and the boys fled.

The woman, who was unlucky to get the cash from his brother, tried several means to get the singer’s attention, but her efforts proved abortive.

She claimed that during her struggles to get the singer’s attention, the officers surrounding him pushed her away thrice. However, she remained resilience and determined in her quest to get ‘blessed’ by the singer. Luck smiled on the third time the security pushed her away as the individual she described as Burna Boy’s brother noticed what happened and instructed the officers to let her be.

She said the man proceeded to give her money and she eventually used the cash to get a TV set and GoTV decoder.
