In a tale of serendipity and newfound love, Nigerian starlet Sharon Ooja bared her heart and soul as she recounted the enchanting story of how she crossed paths with her now beloved husband, Ugo Nwoke.
At an Abuja ceremony, Sharon shared with Bella Naija how fate brought her and Ugo together after a period of heartbreak.
At first, the universe seemed unsure about bringing Ugo and Sharon together. However, through Ugo’s unwavering determination and persistent pursuit, a beautiful dance of connection was orchestrated. Slowly but surely, Ugo’s efforts began to break down the walls that Sharon had built around her heart. As time passed, their bond grew stronger and deeper, eventually blossoming into a love that was truly captivating. This love between Ugo and Sharon was so powerful that it seemed to transcend time and overcome any obstacles or challenges that came their way. It was a love story that proved that true love knows no bounds and can conquer all.
She excitedly shared that after dating for only two and a half months, they made the decision to get engaged. Following their engagement, they wasted no time and tied the knot in a legal marriage ceremony just two months later.
In her words, she said;
“My love story is one I will say is short of a miracle,” she said.
“I will say I had just recovered from what I considered the worst heartbreak of my life.
“I was filming, and my sister said to me, ‘Oh, a friend of mine wants to speak to you’.
“I was like, ‘Please, I’m not really in the mood. I do not want to talk to anybody’.”
“Anyways, she gave this person my number. We did not speak much. Months passed, and he kept on trying to reach me.
“We dated for two and a half months, and I was engaged in the third month. We married two months after that.”

Ooja’s traditional marriage ceremony was a grand affair that brought together a star-studded guest list, which included popular Nollywood celebrities such as Jemima Osunde, Funke Akindele, Beverly Osu, Nancy Isime, and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, along with many other notable personalities from the entertainment industry.
