So, a 47 year Nigerian man who lives in Canada had a covid-19 test and result was positive. He gave Nigerian health officials about N100k, and they changed his positive result to negative.

And he flew to Canada with about 160 other passengers onboard, interacted with so many people in transit, including immigration officials, airport officials, airline crews, etc. He landed in Canada and went home to his family, passing the virus to them.

His wife pressured him to check himself into hospital in order to start treatment immediately, but he declined because they will quarantine him and he will lose money if he doesn’t go to work. Soon, his health deteriorated as covid ravages his body, and his wife had no option than to call 911.

But by the time ambulance and health officials arrived to take him away, he collapsed and died. You might think he is the only one who has done this. No! Many Nigerians have been doing this. In fact, some just buy the result without undergoing any test. Foolishness? E no dey finish my people.☹️

Today, Canadian government has come out with a new policy. No matter your test result, once you arrive in Canada, you must be tested for covid-19 and taken to a hotel to isolate for 3 days while you await your result.

All expenses, more than $2,000 will be on you. You see why corruption is deadly, it has a dangerous ripple effect on every society. We cannot make any progress unless we checkmate the devil called corruption. Corruption kills!
