If you’ve been in any of my teachings about CV, you must have heard me talk about David’s CV which is found in 1 Samuel 16:18
‘One of the servants answered “I have found a son of Jesse of Bethlehem who is
✓skillful in playing
✓a mighty man of valour
✓a man of war
✓Prudent in Speech
✓a handsome Man
✓ AND THE LORD WAS WITH HIM
That last quality was what they needed to help King Saul’s predicament, what was so Special about that last quality that it had to be recommended about David
So out of curiosity, I did my further digging to explore other CVs in the Bible
So I found out that of Daniel in Daniel 5:11-12
“There is a man who has the
✓SPIRIT OF THE HOLY GODS
✓insightful
✓Intelligence
✓wise
✓Dream interpretation
✓problem solver
✓Cryptologist
I found out that The Spirit of God was also highlighted.
I also looked at Joseph’s CV stated by the Pharoah himself (Then World power)
Genesis 41:38-39
“So Pharoah asked them, ‘Can we find anyone like this man in whom is the
✓SPIRIT OF GOD
✓Discerning
✓Wise
Note that the Spirit of God was repeated, and lastly let’s check Bezalel
Exodus 31:1-6
Then the Lord said I have called Bezalel and I have filled him with
✓THE SPIRIT OF GOD
✓wisdom
✓understanding
✓knowledge
✓workmanship abilities
In all these four Curriculum vitae, one thing that stood out was the SPIRIT OF GOD
Could this be the reason why others are picked and some of us aren’t, now one might be asking
How do I attach the Spirit of God to my CV?
Well for starters, it doesn’t have to be worked for, it is received. That’s the good news,the better news is that it has been paid for.
Well no need to hold the best news. The Best news is that the Holy Spirit wants you more than you want him.
Funny but true, James 4:5 confirms that The SPIRIT who dwells in us yearns jealously.
Acts 2:38 confirms that as long as you have repented
