On the 13th of October, 2022 the social media went sad because of the death of Rico Swavey particularly Patrick Fokaya.

Patrick Fokaya was born in 1992, the only male son in his family with seven siblings, a Nigerian lawyer, artiste, movie actor.

He was a housemate of the Big brother Naija season 3 which had the theme “Double wahala” the prize then was 45 million naira.

He was known for his culinary skills and good looks and one of his prominent scenes was when he had to scold his fellow housemates for leaving leftover in their plates as he admonished them to take what they can finish.

He is Yoruba by tribe, and attended the prestigious Babcock University where he studied law, he also was an artiste who sang various songs which include “afrosantana”

He was part of the cast of Tinsel, Life 101, Unspoken and other movies as well, his team mates have taken to their social media handles to send their condolence messages.

He revealed that he was a street marketer in an interview in 2017, he sold Bluetooth speakers and power banks to earn a living and promote most of his songs then.

Shortly after his death, a video popped that showed a team of nurses laughing and making mockery of him while he was fighting for his life, most Nigerians have called on the government to investigate who they were and why they would be laughing when a man was fighting for his life after a ghastly motor accident.
