It got me thinking for a while, I know most people will jump and say yes but what really is a bride price?

Ok let’s put it this way, “what is the price one should pay to acquire the bride of his dreams?”

I know Precious, she meant “are you really willing to pay or do whatever it was to get my heart”

Getting the family of the bride to accept and love you is one part of the bride price, Paying the Downry is part of the bride price, getting the heart of the bride is the real cost (economists will get this part)

The opportunity cost of paying the bride price could be your lack of self control, lack of discipline,. Sweet nothing s, investment (whether spiritual, physical and emotional)

And just so you know Precious comes from a tribe where their bride price is expensive ( if you are thinking of an Igbo tribe, you’re seriously on your own)

But She comes from a tribe of Queens, where purity is their language and they are all blue-blooded, Royal diadems, a tribe that other Queens call blessed.

Now I’m wondering “Was Rachel worth serving for 14 years, was Merab worth the head of Goliath, was Michal worth the foreskin of 100 Philistines, was Helen worth the Trojan War, Was the Church worth the death of Christ?”

I wish I knew the answers of these questions but you all need to hear my reply to Precious….

Sounds scriptural, I know but it’s spiritual and mutual for someone out there.
