Here’s wishing the young couple a happy married life. What else to add? Success has a lot of relations, cousins and extended family. Failure is always an orphan, no friends, no associates. It’s really PMB’s time, anti-corruption fight, politics or whatever. If not, how do you explain the presence of opposition dignitaries like Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, PDP chieftains like Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Chief Femi Fani Kayode, etc. at the event?
Come to think of it, the newlywed, Yusuf, appears to be the only son (Yoruba would call him “Okanlawon”) of the Buhari household, in a family filled with pretty females. So, something to celebrate “big time” to have an “opomulero” to sustain the Buhari name.
However, Nigerians are still hungry, many jobless, no good healthcare, no good transportation system, poor security system, and the list goes on. So, after the wedding, let’s get back to work to make life easier for the poor masses, so as to enjoy the dividends of democracy.
For now, let’s all pray for the new couple. They deserve our giidwill, just like any other fellow human being.
