She was under president Richard Rupin who was the group leader. In the year 2018, she gave a hand to Laetitia Avia who wanted to become the group leader but she did not win the seat.
She is now a member of a committee known French-Chinese Parliamentary Friendship Group. In the year 2020 when she was running for the president’s seat of the parliamentary group where she became the fourth candidate. Dubost was later appointed as one of the deputies of Christophe Castaner. She was working with her partner Aurore Berge.
