Candace Owens (Candace Amber Owens Farmer) is an American talk show host, political commentator, activist and conservative author. Owens gained popularity for her pro-Trump activism as a black woman. She is a critic of the Democratic Party and Black Lives Matter. Between 2017 and 2019, Owens served as a communication director for the conservative advocacy group Turning Point USA. Currently, she hosts a political podcast, Candace on The Daily Wire since 2021. Owens hosts The Candace Owens Show on PragerU’s YouTube channel.

Owens was the CEO of Degree180 in 2015. The blog by Owen posted frequently anti-conservative and anti-Trump content. In 2016, She launched SocialAutopsy.com. Owens said that her website would expose bullies on the Internet. She used crowdfunding on Kickstarter for the website.
Owens’ web was widely criticized with claims that she was doxing Internet users and violating their privacy.

Owens began supporting Trump by the end of 2017 by producing pro-Trump commentary, and criticism of liberal rhetoric regarding structural racism. Owens launched a YouTube channel, Red Pill Black, that promotes black conservatism in the United States in September 2017.

At the MAGA Rally and Expo in Rockford, Illinois, Charlie Kirk announced that Owens had been hired as the organization’s director of urban engagement on 21st November 2017. She left the role of communication director for Turning Point in May 2019.

Owens received praises from prominent people like Trump and Kanye West. After the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh as a Supreme Court judge in 2018, Owens registered as a member of the Republican Party.

Candance linked to the Twitter handles of Sarah Silverman, Chelsea Handler, and Kathy Griffin claiming that they were living evidence of her theory that “something bio-chemically happens” to women who do not marry or have children.

Owens stated in a tweet in February 2021 that she was considering a run for President in 2024.

Candance launched the Blexit foundation in 2018. It featured social media campaign to encourage African Americans to leave the Democratic Party and register as Republicans.

Owens is a big opponent of abortion and is critical of feminism. She supports and promotes LGBT rights. She opposes Welfare programs and she is a member of the National Rifle Association.
