Allegations Emerge as Actress Doris Ogala Cries Out and the subsequent action from the church officials

PFN Orders Pastor Chris Okafor to Step Down

Following the public outcry, senior leaders within the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) intervened. Although PFN does not have legal authority over individual churches, respected leaders within the body directed Pastor Okafor to step down temporarily from pastoral duties pending further review.

Subsequently, a  PFN source explained, “From the pressure and counsel of leaders within the body of Christ, he has stepped down for a month. Before the end of that period, further decisions will be taken.” The move was described as a disciplinary and restorative measure rather than a legal sanction.
