Mrs Shimite Bello Love, Special adviser to Delta governor popularly known as Madam Sabificate, has been recently confirmed dead on Easter Sunday.
Allegedly, witnesses who saw Mrs Shimite on the day of her demise reported she foamed from her mouth, before being taken to St Luke’s Hospital where she finally took her last breath.
Moreso, Family members told Sahara Reporters that Mrs Shimite’ husband Pastor David Love has been arrested following allegations of poisoning her, after the maid called her brother, weighed down by worry that Pastor David had locked his wife all day – He rushed over to find Shimite unresponsive with foam in her mouth.
According to her family members, Pastor David Love – Her husband had often isolated Mrs Shimite from family and loved ones and took control over her life including her properties.
“ Since he came into her life everything changed, she was completely cut off. He trailed her movements, prevented her from going to work and changed ownership of her assets to his name.” A relative added.
He had nothing before her, she believed everything he said because he was her spiritual father – A Family member said
Sources who were close to her made it known she was full of life over the weekend that no one would have believed her sudden demise.
Previously, attempts to reach the Delta Police PRO Bright Edafe on the auspicious day was not successful.
In a recent development, Bright Edafe the superintendent of Police and Police Public Relations Officers Of Delta State confirmed Mrs Shimite’s death in a phone call with Business Day.
He said ;
Her husband was not arrested but I think based on the news making the rounds, he was afraid that they (angry Deltans) might come for him. So, he came to us for protective custody.
“You know, we have not ascertained what killed the wife. We are trying to find out what actually happened and what led to her death.
“We need to find out because there is version that said she shouted “My Chest, My Chest” and died in the hospital.
Another version said the husband beated her. So, we have to be sure of what we are doing first. I’m waiting for the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) for detailed information”,
The late SA to the Governor previously occupied the Executive Secretary Of The Delta State Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises under Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and also the CEO of the Quintessential Group – an agricultural and solid mineral enterprise.
Mrs Shimite was also a contestant for the Oshimili North Seat in Delta State House Of Assembly primaries under the People’s Democratic Party.
