A chieftain of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) Buba Galadima who has also been known as a long time critic of APC, recently praised President Bola Tinubu for helping his daughter secure a federal job shortly after completing her NYSC.

Galadima, who is not just a chieftain of the NNPP but also a close friend to Rabiu Kwankwaso – Presidential candidate of the NNPP announced this praise for President Tinubu during his recent interview on African Independent Television.

He narrated how his daughter, a medical doctor, had called the President Tinubu when she came across his number in his(Buba) phone, requested for a job and ultimately got it.

Galadima said ;

“She looked through my phone, saw the president’s number and called him, he picked it thinking it was me.

They told him they were my children and needed help. One of them who just finished NYSC told him she wanted a job at the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC). He immediately called the head of the commission, Gbenga Komolafe and told him to give her a job.”

Galadima further said his daughter travelled to Mecca to thank God and President Tinubu.

The APC critic compared President Tinubu with the former president Muhammadu Buhari whom he worked under over a decade. According to him, despite his loyalty and servitude, Buhari didn’t show support; instead Buhari instructed his daughter not to be paid.

He said ;

I worked for Buhari for 13 years. My daughter worked in his government for 4 years, yet he instructed that she should not be paid. Let them bring any voucher showing she was paid.

This new development has attracted interest from the citizens regarding Galadima’s past criticism against APC.
