London: Ohio welcomes a baby from a 30- Year Old plus Frozen Embryo.

Due to the groundbreaking development for productive medicine, an Ohio couple’s frozen baby boy set a new world record as the longest successful birth over three decades.

Lindsey and Tim Pierce after nearly a decade of infertility struggle for seven years became a parent on July 26,2025, when their son, Thaddeus Daniel Pierce, was born.

The embryo, screened and preserved since 1994, was adopted by the Pierces through “Snowflake Embryo Adoption Program” from a Christian based embryo adoption agency.

The preserved embryo was originally created for Linda Archerd through “In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)” 62 Year Archerd now gave birth to a daughter from the same batch in the 1990s. After her divorce, Archerd remained and kept the embryo frozen, paying thousands in storage fees over the years.

A Christian – based non-profit that connects and builds family relationships willing to donate unused embryos with infertile couples.

Archerd chose the Pierces, a married christian couple.

Archerd, dazed at the successful birth, noting a resemblance to her now 30 years old daughter, and describe the event as like something from a “sci- fi movie”

The embryo was thawed and transferred by ” Rejoice Fertility in Knoxville.Tennessee ” showing their incredible durability of cryopreservation technology.

“If an embryo was screened and preserved, there’s no expiration date” According to the medical personnel Dr.Alok Patel, pediatrician and science communicator, emphasizing that the 30- year gap posed no additional health risks.

This birth breaks the previous record set in 2022 when twins were born from embryos frozen in 1992.

Despite the publicity, the pierce’s insist their intention was never to make history. ” We just wanted to be parents,” Lindsey Pierce said. ” Thaddeus is our answered prayer”

This unique birth not only redefined possibilities of representative science but also offered hope to countless families waiting for their own miracle.

Can science continue to preserve life across generations?

Should embryo donation be more globally encouraged?
