I was in the local organizing committee, AMP elections in Asaba. Please the headlines that say Sir Zeb EJiro was held hostage was a lie from the pit of hell. He actually declared the elections open. I have pictures and videos of the electoral process as evidence. I rest my case. I am ANTHONIA OBI-OBUEZE.

All candidates had bought and submitted their forms to the ONLY AMPEC formed by AMP, all candidates were requested by AMPEC to report for screening by 10.00 am, as DG of Peace Anyiam Osigwe team we reported and so did Myrk Parish team too.

We all underwent the screening and sign the papers as requested by AMPEC as proof that we underwent the screening and agreed to submit ourselves to AMPEC and the election.

Every candidate knew the state hosting the election was Asaba in Delta state and had visited Asaba for team logistics and co, since petition s were sent form all sides over list submitted by the current secretary ( whom is running for vice president position) AMPEC requested that every state chapters chairman SHOULD send list of their members to AMPEC, and it MUST be signed by the chairman and secretary of the chapter and MUST be on the letter heading of the chapter. It will come in soft with 24hrs and hard copy( when they arrive Asaba).

Pls note that Rose the ex national secretary ( running for the vice president position under Myrk Parish team) submitted fake Benue list, which Benue chairman and secretary questioned, which led to AMPEC order for peace to reign. No team questioned this at the screening venue and because of that the said Rose was not disqualified.
AMPEC later that night released list of screened candidates for the Asaba election and also released the Hotel venue/ address for the election.

(Please note that before then the state hosting the election had been communicated to us, the reason why visit for logistics was done by each team)
By midnight of Thursday on the platform request for postponement of the election came from Myrk team, around 10 pm, AMPEC has book hotel, paid for the venue, book for transport even the president has bought an air ticket for BOT and was in Asaba on the ground. Visit to the government of the state planned and approved, hotels to accommodate state delegates paid for.

The only state that wrote they will not be attending was Kogi, kano called in they will not make it too.

So AMPEC informed the house that elections will not be moved for reasons stated by opposition, because they had the whole working hours of the screening day to state this if it was important enough for them, and it would have being discussed with both all contestants, beside the national has moved to Asaba and they have to order it as those the committee reports to.

President Ralph Nwadike ordered that election SHALL not be postponed.
Our first team arrived Asaba by noon of Thursday, while the second team led by me arrived the night of Thursday and where awaiting our last team for Friday.
We were busy grooming our candidates for a manifesto, questions, and answers and possibly debate in the early afternoon of Friday when we heard rumors that Myrk team will not attend.

I dismissed it as rumors since the chairman of the BOT of our noble association AMP by the name of Zeb arrived on Thursday morning and was in the same team lead by the national President Ralph Nwadike to visit the governor of the state to thank him for hosting and even visiting the film village site being built for our industry.
I became sure the more when Zeb OON even addressed delegates that had arrived for the election in front of VIENNA HOTEL DBS road Asaba alone.

By Saturday morning the National President raised alarm that the sum of N1.5m was with drawn by Rose( the same Rose contesting for VP position in AMP) from AMP account without his knowledge and approval, just because they have a signed cheque in AMP office Lagos.
So need to for him to raise funds to feed and pay off accomodations of delegates from over 16 states.

Then by noon stories that Myrk Parish and his cohort had declared themselves president and co of the guild.
Again I was reassured because Zeb OON, national president Ralph Nwadike and the WHOLE of AMPEC of AMP are in Asaba about to open the election.

Again I then knew that the Lagos silly show was a fraud when the BOT chairman Zeb Ejiro OON open the election along with the government of Delta state and our national president and AMPEC and the attendance of state chapters of AMP( over 16) in numbers.
Even at the end of the election I still saw Zeb OON DG NFVCB, Opa Williams, fred Amata and co at the bar drinking happily.

Am sure I posted pictures and videos of the elections, I still await those of Lagos.
I sent a WhatsApp message to our ex-President, accusing him of being part of the silly Lagos shame, he told me he is disappointed with me that I believed he could be part of such, that he is in Abuja as we post to each other.

So is it fair that because a union secretary has the key to the office of the guild she can open and withdraw funds of the guild, allow a candidate to sit on the table of the union president, and open the union doors to miscreants?

These facts could be verified from over 16 state chapter chairmen that attended.
Truth is like the sun hand can not cover it.

The great sheik Zeb Ejiro boxed to a corner in Asaba. Reports from Asaba say that AMP BOT Chairman Zeb was boxed to a corner by forces led by the DG of the National Film and Video Censors Board who is a major sponsor of one of the candidates Peace Anyiam Osigwe.

Zeb Ejiro wasn’t in support of the charade that happened in Asaba in the name of AMP election and had petitioned the electoral commission to postpone the election. He was refused exit from the hotel and made to speak under pressure by the forces behind the Asaba charade.

When contacted the revered filmmaker kept mute and refused to speak. Observers believe that he’s in pain over the treatment meted to him.
