Paul Okoye, one of the Psquare duo, known by his stage name “Rudeboy” revealed his girlfriend via Instagram while still in the middle of a pending divorce with his wife Anita Okoye.

When Paul and Anita Okoye first met and fell in love in 2004, they were still undergraduate students at the University of Abuja.

After welcoming Andre as their first child in 2013, they later wed, officially sealing their love story. It was assumed that this would be the beginning of the couple’s “happily ever after.”

Nathan and Nadia, twins, were born to Anita in 2017. They celebrated this present with their friends and family.

After seven years of marriage, Anita Okoye filed for divorce in August 2021.

The “Reason With Me Crooner” was the target of petitions filed by Anita Okoye’s attorney, and the petition was inadvertently leaked.

Anita petitioned for divorce, citing the following grounds:

√ Infidelity.

Paul sent his wife and her sister out of the house after they found out about his affair with their house help.

“That I know as a fact that the Respondent on 11th June 2020, threw the petitioner’s sister and me out of the house after we discovered that he had started an illicit affair with one of the house helps by name Florence.”

√ Struggle For Power.

The petition also stated Paul bragged about clipping his wife’s wings by sending her out of their house.

“That I know as a fact that while sending I and petitioner’s sister packing, the Respondent also boasted that the reason for his actions was to ensure that the Petitioner’s wings were clipped and that she had no one else to lean on.

√ Zero Care For His Family.

It was also revealed via the petition that Paul didn’t care about his children since he often travels for music tours and isn’t at home.

“That I know as a fact that the Respondent has shown minimal interest in the upbringing of the children and rarely participates in the discipline of the children.

“I know the Respondent has always been travelling on music tours and is barely at home and does not have time for family life”

√ Breach Of Agreement(Fraud)

That I know as a fact that the Petitioner founded a company called TannkCo in 2019.

“That the Petitioner and the Respondent agreed to build a mall where TannkCo would have its main offices and the Petitioner contributed N10,000,000.00 (Ten Million Naira) for the purchase of the land and the building of the mall.”

“That I know as a fact that the Respondent upon completion of the mall, reneged on the agreement and failed to give TannkCo a space in the mall.

√ Long Suffering.

“That I know as a fact that I have been close to the petitioner and the respondent since their marriage and I know that the Petitioner has endured a lot of painful experiences in the marriage and I was always encouraging her to continue to do her best for the marriage to survive.

“That I make this written statement oath in good faith and to the best of my knowledge, information and belief and in accordance with the Oaths Act,” a deponent close to the petitioner said.

Although it didn’t specify what it was, the petitioner endured.

Anita moved to the U.S. with her children after filing for divorce.

Rude Boy recently celebrated his first anniversary with his new girlfriend on Instagram. He flaunted her, and his followers went on to identify her.

Rudeboy has reportedly fallen completely in love with her, as evidenced by the sentimental captions and images.
