HOW TO PITCH PERFECT
Pitching is about selling yourself, product, services or brand to get more clients, customers or investors
In this Life, you are either selling or being sold.
You sell yourself to get high grades, favour, a spouse, more customers
As long as you have value to offer, you must position yourself to render your value.
Sometimes one can be valuable and not be noticed.
You can have a great product that can cure even corona virus itself and HIV and if you don’t sell it, you won’t make sales
And if you don’t pitch yourself well, You won’t make sales and those who need your value won’t be blessed cause they wouldn’t know.
So pitching is not for you alone but for those who need your value.
We will look at David, Joseph and Jesus (THE great Bible Business men)
1. Appearance
Igbo people have an adage that says “The Eye eats first”
First impression matters but an excellent impression scatters.
There is a way we can do both.
When pitching make sure that you are in your best appearance

3. Knowledge
When people come to pitch. Questions are thrown at them
How knowledgeable they are about their business is seen in their confidence.
Please never sell or write a copy (will still discuss this more)
Of a product you have no knowledge about.
At least use their product, ask questions. Cause if it is not reliable. Your reputation can be wrecked
Jesus knew that the woman at the well was with a sixth man she was yet to marry. And he knew He was the messiah.

You must know your product, your investors, your customers and your accounts
Empathy
When you know your customer. Know what hurts them and what gladdens them
Sell your product in conjunction with emotion.
*Every body buys A product because of emotion and justifies it with logic*
So someone buys a watch
Was it because they wanted to check time?
Was it because it matched a wear?
Was it because of the feeling of importance the watch came with?
Think about why you bought the last thing you bought
Sell Value first
Joseph after telling Pharoah his dream , gave him a solution to the famine immediately
The same cupbearer that Joseph interpreted his dream for free was the one that referred him.
Jesus healed first then the crowd followed.
Be quick to solve people’s problem then you have their heart
David killed Goliath and became Isreal’s favourite.
If someone has a problem that you can solve without too much stress, Please bless that person with your value.
Put a story to it.
I bought dried vegetables even though I knew it wasn’t fresh because the old woman who sold it to me told me a touching story.
Sell a story with your pitch.
What motivated you to start that business.
“Do you see this hairstyle, Genevieve made this exact hairstyle in this movie ”
Always attract with a story. Remember how Frood cried in big brother naija show few years ago and we bonded with him
