Boko Haram terrorists on Friday released a video showing its fighters shooting down a fighter jet mid-air.

This comes 48 hours after the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) declared an aircraft missing in Borno State.

The footage showed fighters carrying RPG and Artillery equipment, and the remains of the pilot.

On Friday, the NAF PRO, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, while giving an update on the missing jet ,said the aircraft might have crashed.

The missing pilots are Flight Lieutenant John Abolarinwa and Flight Lieutenant Ebiakpo Chapele.
