Nigeria as a country, is arguably one that is known to have many of its inhabitants living below $2 per day. Despite the high level of poverty in the country, one of the striking features of this great nation is the wide gap between the rich and the poor. It is no longer news that Nigerian politics is seen as one of the easiest ways to become super rich in the country, despite the high level of poverty experienced by the masses.

Today, being a politician is seen by many as a means for self-enrichment even to the detriment of the people who elected you. Corruption is nothing new to the Nigerian polity. However, it’s negative effect on the country, saw the former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, introduced the Economic and Financial Crime Commission otherwise known as EFCC, to arrest, probe and prosecute anyone involved in any kind of financial crime. However, since its inception, some politicians have remained untouchable until recently.

It is no doubt that one of such politician that has remained untouchable is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a former Governor of Lagos State and the National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC). However, following the recent appointment of Bawa as the new EFCC Chairman, there has been news of the Commission requesting that the Former Governor should submit his assets deceleration file to the Code of Conduct Bureau, a sign that the National Leader of the APC could seen be Probed by the Commission.

In the wake of the file submission, rumours emerged that Tinubu’s file submitted to the Code of Conduct Bureau is missing, a rumour that the CCB has denied according to reports on www.guardian.ng. However, since the rumour emerged, images of transaction details on the Former Governor’s Allied Companies have emerged on social media, showing how huge amounts were transferred between accounts belonging to Tinubu’s companies. Attached in this article are some of the images of the transactions.
