I just finished seeing the movie

Wonder Woman 84, And I want to share few lessons I learnt from the movie.

Okay before we get to my lessons, Let me share a Story….

One time in the University, A Friend of mine happened to gift me a hacked version of the game “Subway Surf”

This particular version had unlimited coins, Mehn I bought everything that could make me invincible, I had access to alot of surf boards, characters were unlocked, turbo bought, But you know the funny part, The game became boring. I’ll explain why, let’s go back to the movie

In the beginning of the movie, We see little diana preparing for a contest, She had learnt a lot of skills, She had the best coach who encouraged her, and that Coach said something that struck me, “Greatness is not what you think”

Diana’s version of greatness was winning as a child, becoming part of the Amazon warriors but her coach’s and Mom’s version of greatness was inbuilt, What you learn in the journey of greatness, Sacrifice, Love, patience, Discipline etc

Sometimes we see other people doing alot of great stuff and we want to be as great as them leaving our line of greatness, Noble Cyril did a small video on this, you can check the video on his timeline.

Another quote I loved was from Diana, “Sometimes we can’t see what we are learning (becoming) till we get to the other side”, it is good to read, But you’ll really know if what you did in the University was reading or learning when you are given a real life task.

Another quote I love is also from Diana, “You can’t have it all, you can only have the truth and the truth is enough” sometimes we are just too greedy that we lose sight of what we have, what we truly have.. remember my story about the game, Life purpose becomes clearer as we become, we just need to believe in what we have.

The wishing part showed me how much we lose ourselves, Look at how Barbara wanted to be like Diana so much that She missed out on her true nature and the true nature of Diana for Diana would never hurt people except it was the last resort.

I saw how the heart of Children were pure, When Maxwell offered his son a chance to wish for something powerful, The SON(May you have spiritual insight) wished that his Father become greater. Just because all he wanted was for his father to be greater since it was what his Father wanted and probably he thought that if his father got what he wanted, his Father would spend more time with him.

Diana also told Barbara that “we all have our struggles” which is something we must all bear in mind, Even God has a need (this might be shocking but think of that next time you are asking someone for a favour, cash or a gesture)

And my last favourite quote is from Hippolyta “
One day, you’ll become all that you dream of and more. And everything will be different. This world is not yet ready for all that you will do.”

Never stop dreaming of WHAT YOU CAN BECOME NOT WHAT SOMEONE ELSE IS

I said please read it slowly,

Okay one more time read the last two statements slowly…. That’s the take away lesson for me there.
