Drugs worth seized along with weapons.

Two separate Toronto police investigations have led to the arrests of two men, and the seizure of $17.7 million in drugs, including crystal meth, cocaine, fentanyl and heroin.

Police said the drugs were recovered in two investigations, days apart in November.

The first arrest came Nov. 15, after the drug squad received information about a man trafficking in the city.

They searched two properties in Toronto and one in Vaughan, and found 10.6 kg of cocaine, 767 grams of fentanyl and 67.8 kg of crystal methamphetamine.

Police said the estimated street value of these drugs is around $8 million.

Onyejebechi Ifesimeshone, 23, of Vaughan is charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking. He is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 15.

The drug squad also got a tip that an address in Mississauga, in the area of Dundas St. E. and Cawthra Rd., was being used as a fentanyl-cutting lab and for packaging and distributing drugs.

. Police seized more than $500,000, or 33 kg. of fentanyl, 21 kg. of crystal meth, nine kg. of cocaine, one kg. of heroin, two firearms and two silencers, worth collectively about $9.7 million.
