Can one really have peace in the midst of troubles. Noo you can’t
It takes a knowledge of something superior to keep you confident.
It’s either that confidence comes from the knowledge the possessor has or an information that has been given prior that storm.
All confidence exudes from knowledge. So when you see one confident in a way that scares you. Kindly ask him or her why or what he or she knows.
So Peter sees his master walking on water and tells him, “Bid me come” His master bids him. Making Peter the second man to walk on water. (He knew his master).
And while he walked on water he looked around and saw the wind and stormy waters (He doubted)
He starts drowning. Jesus helps him and doesn’t ask him “Why did you drown” but “Why did you doubt” (In other words why did you lose the knowledge you had)
Peter, Why did you not believe the information that you could walk on water.
Recently I started doubting myself, thinking what would become of Life after service. I was losing my confidence so I sought out an information I could boost my confidence with.
Then I found out a scripture that says.
“Evil Fathers give good gifts to their children”
đ I know you won’t get it but if Evil men are always loving their children how much the Father of Spirit. My Father
See the prodigal son’s Father only wanted the best for his son. His son came back from his bad ways and all the Father could think of was “Has my son eaten, remove his dirty robes, celebrate my lost son is found”
I’m so confident right now. Cause a songwriter wrote “Because He lives, I can face tomorrow”
Remember how Paul was so confident in the ship that none of the prisoners were going to die. Because an Angel of his God told him that he would appear before Ceasar. That information alone made him so confident that while other prisoners refused to eat. Apostle Paul was eating merrily
What made Joshua so confident that he could command the Sun?
We call this “Faith”
But we know that Faith cometh by HEARING, AND HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD.
when people are scared, it’s either they believed a wrong or false report or they haven’t heard the right report.
I don’t even know how many cases of corona are in Nigeria right now. I lost count? No I stopped countingâŚ
Even Jesus tells us to pay heed to what we hear (Mark 4:24, Luke 8:18)
