GET THIS SORTED OUT BEFORE YOU GET MARRIED.
Marriage is a beautiful thing, it’s a union between two beautiful compatible people, I know there have been different things people have mentioned that we look out for before getting married well I’m just here to add my little mite to their talents (pun intended)
You see, when people want to get married, there is alot of butterfly in the tummy, sweet nothings here and there, emotional order and disorder, love blindness, that sometimes we don’t always get to see the big picture.
One of the things most people should know about marriage is that even though it is a union of two souls and bodies, it isn’t really about you, the union is also about favouring others or being a blessing to others, for instance your children.
Truly ‘the apple doesn’t really fall far from the tree’ the more we understand this, the better it is going to be for the whole world, some months ago I wrote to you about the series ‘Legend of the seeker’ why Richard Cypher was truly the true seeker in a thousand years, he had the bloodline of two great families, Zorrander (magicians) and Rahl (kings) and was trained by the Cyphers (a kind hearted family) the training aspect is very important
I also spoke about Jesus being born to Mary who was from Judah and had family relations with Elizabeth who was a levite, perfect combination of both a priest and a king.
Jesus had to be trained by Joseph, have you wondered why God never chose another father instead but decided to persuade Joseph in a dream to still marry Mary, the bible doesn’t really tell us much about Joseph but one thing we know was that he was a righteous man (Matthew 1:19) I know most people see marriage as a contract but most of us see marriage as something much more, forgive us if we sound too extreme, and some people have made up their mind not to marry perfection because it doesn’t exist, and yes it doesn’t, Jesus said only one person is good and that is God. But when you let God create something (in your spouse or marriage) you will see that it is good
Why not get married to someone whom you love and loves you as much as you do and in the end, your children would call you blessed for it.
One of the ways to be a blessing to your children is by checking your genotype, as simple as this sounds, most people don’t check this and end up hurting their children in the name of Love, please the world is already dealing with alot of problems, don’t marry someone who you aren’t compatible with genotypically (yes this word exists)
Secondly, another way to make your marriage a blessing to your children is to know the mental capacity of your spouse, somebody has to teach the children how to read, how to be good, financial intelligence, spiritual intelligence and academic excellence, well someone might ask, Jedice what if I truly love this person but the person isn’t that smart, well I’ll advise that you both be smart enough to find an alternative way to make the children smarter than you are. Don’t know how, refer to ‘my review on the movie King Richard’ or check out how Laszlo Polgar raised three chess grandmasters, or Rich dad, poor dad to not just glean from the book itself but the strategies implored in them.
Lastly, please ask questions to your potential spouse how he or she was trained, it matters a whole lot.
