The Super woman awards was held at Portharcourt, Rivers State at LA and Kings event centre.
The Super woman awards is an award ceremony that celebrates the feats, achievements and impact made by women under the age of 30, it is also known as the most prestigious gathering of next generation female leaders in Africa.
The Convener of this occasion, the indomitable Serena Francis who is a development consultant and has been passionate about women development especially the girl child for over 8 years gave her opening speech, and thanked everyone for being a part of the awards, she spoke briefly about the reason why the Super woman awards meant so much to females all over Africa.
The show had people people who were in attendance like Jago Emmanuel, Emeka Nobis (Don), Mrs Gift Nwankwo, Dr Mercy Bello Abu, Mrs Ibinabo Amakiri, etc
The awards had over 20 nominees that were being selected for the impact and role in foodpreneurship, community building, volunteering, personal development, technology, business, leadership and content creation. Amongst the nominees were Blessing Okebe, Juliet Ike, Prisca Dera and the show was hosted by Fortune Ataisi the lady with the phenomenal voice.
The awards wasn’t just the take home for the winners but all winners were attached to women mentors who would help them to really discover themselves and make much more impact to other persons.
This is an award that every female leader should look forward to participating every year.
